How do I schedule an appointment?

Simply click here to schedule your appointment online, and follow the simple steps to log in and find a time that works best for you. Our electronic scheduling system will help you with booking, modifying, and cancelling counseling sessions, and will also remind you when you have an upcoming appointment!

What is required for virtual sessions?

To participate in virtual counseling sessions, you will need a stable internet connection as well as a device with a microphone and a webcam. You do not need to register for any additional video call services, and you do not need to download an app before your session. For more information, visit our Virtual Counseling Sessions page!

Do you see children?

Currently, we do not see children under the age of fifteen years old. This may change in the future as staff and support for the ministry grows.

Do I have to be a Christian?

Absolutely not! Christians and non-Christians alike are encouraged to seek counseling from LFMC. We are open to discussing spiritual matters, but will only do so at your comfort level. Our licensed counselors will not introduce religion into the conversation without your acknowledgment.

What does counseling cost?

Counseling at LFMC is extremely affordable! We charge a base fee of $40 for a 50 minute session with a Licensed Professional Counselor, and there is a sliding scale option available to select clients who are unable to afford these fees. These fees are considerably more affordable than comparable services, which cost an average of $150 per session in Austin, TX. In addition, some of our trained counselors offer free counseling services!

Whether or not your receive counseling services, you are welcome to support our mission through donations. Donations are anonymous to the counselors, so no preferential treatment is given to those who choose not to donate.
